One of the most important things at our school is that we want to create a meeting place between God and our students. Being in God's presence is one of the most important things we do as Christians, which is why we start each school day with praise and prayer. The time we spend together seeking God and worshiping him can look different. We are in His presence, He speaks to us personally, or in the group, we pray with and for each other; or we have intercession for neighbourhood, city and country. These moments are important to us, therefore we are not in a hurry when the Lord is near and wants to meet us. Christian life is not meant to be theoretical, we believe that Father in heaven actually and practically meets us where we are, and we open up to Him!

CLASSROOM TEACHING

We have 2 teaching hours before and after lunch. The Christian life is about a deep personal faith, but it also has a practical expression, which is why, in addition to Bible studies at school, we have outreach once a week. There you are taken out in a safe and good way, where everyone discovers that they have something to pass on to others they meet on the street. As a student, you will also get to meet several exciting guest teachers from home and abroad, gifts that have been given to the school. We as a school are so grateful for all our teachers who prepare and equip you as a student for life ahead with God. A list of teachers and staff can be found here. If you want more practical information about the school day, you can read it here.

MISSION TRIPS

Some of the highlights of school are going on mission trips together. On these trips, the students get to practice what they hear in class. Our experience at the school is that the students really experience growing and developing on these trips. As Christians, we have a calling to go out with the gospel, to serve his people and a dying world with love and power. We travel on 3 mission trips during a school year. Two 2-3 weekend trips to different places in Norway. Then a long mission trip in the spring in Europe or in another continent. The owner congregations have contacts all over the world, and previous team trips have been to Belgium, the Faroe Islands, Sweden, Poland, Israel, Albania, Kenya, the Philippines and India.

If you have questions about the school, you can contact us at post@impact-europe.org, and we will prioritize answering you as soon as possible.
